Lovely days with my family

Yes!!!! My mum and sis came to England for a week. (7th~12th)
I was happy to spend time with them at the weekend and the last day.

First of all, I missed all classes afternoon, and went on see them to Heathrow airport. Despite I met for the first time in three months, I didn't feel like long time no see. I don't know why, though. They looked so tired because of the long flight, which was total 14 hours. After meeting up with them, we went to the hotel where we had stayed for nearly a week. Then we went to Pizza express to have supper. It was the first time to visit there, but food which we ordered, the atmosphere, and staff were perfect!!! Oh my goodness such a heavenly time^^

On second day, we joined one of the tour for Japanese which took up to Cotswolds. I did have no idea about Cotswolds, but now I have known. All houses in region of Cotswolds are made of the stone which is called Cotswolds. That's why that region is called Cotswolds. I mean all creamy colouring houses are very pretty. I came in almost all of souvenirs shops, but there are huge amount of pretty things. I actually couldn't choose which one is the best!!hehe We had Fish and chips, seasersalad, and Beef pie for lunch. It was apparently heavy lunch, but quite good!!!! It was to my test!!Really!!

On third day, I joined the London tour in the morning. We went around Greenwich, the city of London, and London by bus. Actually, I hadn't been to Greenwich before, so I really enjoyed to get there. I stood across the line which is called "First meridian" for the first time. There was a great view, and also it was cloudless, so I could see all of London. After going down the hill, we went on watch "Changing the guard" in Buckingham palace because fortunately, the parade was taken place!!!!! I was soooo happy to watch it because I had never seen it before. Guys who were playing instruments individually and wore a official red uniform were so cool!!!! They caught my heart... Why are they such a cool????? Please tell me, Somebody~~~~~!! In the afternoon, we wandered around London. I led my family to various places to have them got an enjoyable time.

On the last day, they came to Winchester where I have lived. I introduced them my uni. and the town. Moreover, I recommended them have Pasty!!!!! Yes! I love Pasty. They seemed to like Pasty. At last, I saw them off at the bus stop. It was so sad to say goodbye in a half year, but I charged energy!!! Actually, they gave me amount of energy to spend happily for another 6 months. I cried after they headed off to the airport. I couldn't get used to say goodbye for good...

I had fabulous days with them!!! Thank you!!!!!! See you in 6 months!!!!!

The Newforest Show

I went to The New Forest Show yesterday with my teachers and friend. It was a cloudless sky in the morning, but end up a cloudy one. Unfortunately, it got overcast, but quite nice day out!! It is said that this festival is very traditional English one. I don't have any sort of festival in Japan, so it was quite interesting to wander around. Obviously the place was enormous, and there was a massive crowd of people. When I learned that this festival was originally held in the first World War to produce many bins of jam and that it represents a respect for women, I thought it is a great culture and a way of thinking because Japanese people still respect women, but this sort of event haven't been held before. However, many farmers who is not only women but men join it now, though. I believe this big event is a very good opportunity to show audience their effort and much work. I wish Japan would have similar one...

Animals, Vegetables, flower arrangements, arts, wood sculptures, and something like that are very popular in Japan, but the dancing sheep show which one group of sheep dances rhythmically with music, horse jump time racing, and dressage are not. Three of them are much popular than Japan, so it was so fascinating. However, I have never seen such huge vegetables in front of me before. How huge it is, I thought. I wondered how they looked after. Unless they look after very constantly, vegetables died very quickly, so I think it is apparently great work. I cannot do that, though. Horses are seem to be one of a symbol in UK, and are worth being treated very nicely. Animals zones, especially cattle's one, were stinky, but they were so cute. I held a one-week-old chick. I wanted to squash it. Oh my gosh... I could keep it safe anyway...hehe

I ate many pieces of food testing and traditional pie; Curried Lamb, for lunch. It was not warm, but tasty!! I enjoyed it. All of food testing were made in UK and very fresh. It was quite nice. I found that traditional food in UK is almost covered with a pie and has many ingredients in a pie. It's more complicated than Japanese traditional food. I can eat it without a fork and knife everywhere even if I don't have a seat. Traditional food with a pie is more to my taste than flied food.

After that, I visited my host family's house. Even now, they have provided me a meal sometimes. Moreover, mum cooked Cottage pie and Samosas which both of them are my favourite food. It was so yummy. I was happy to see them indeed.

The Making Of Harry Potter

"Warner Bro.
Studio Tour in London
The Making Of Harry Potter"

I went to the studio tour at the weekend. First of all, I have to appreciate for giving me a chance to get there to my teachers. Massively thank you.xx

The studio tour was amazing!!!!! It's definitely excellent!! The studio itself was enormous.  It was beyond my expectation. The tour guides gave us the explanation about the tour and the process of all of films simply with humorous talking beforehand. It made me excited more and more, pushed my emotion. I didn't know how effort hundreds of specialists having artistic and creative talent made and how huge time they spent even earlier first film came, but I appreciated all of it while I was walking and looking around inside the studio. Almost all of stuff, such as sculptures, portraits, furniture, equipped machines, dresses, and hair wigs, were handmade. There were hundreds of thousands of stuff, though. I'm sure that all of Harry Potter are the supreme magical films. Moreover, Thanks to the special short movie and photos which is set throughout the studio, I could hear their real voice as I watched it, and I saw the warm face of Professor. Moody for the first time. Many character's photo from the first one to the last one showed me how long it took to shoot all of films, and how big they were getting for 10 years. It was also fascinating.

I cannot chose the best section, so I put on many pictures anyway.
There are many real sets like these there.

I drank a cup of butter beer with white moustache.

This is 1/24 scales of real one in the film. If I treated it, I would give up making...

I bought lots of souvenirs for me. They vacuumed my money. hehe
I originally loved Harry Potter, but I loved more and my perspective for it changed afterwards. It is interesting because I can completely realise how this machine is moving when I watch it next time.
This was a precious experience. One of my dream came true. I recommend everyone go there, and I would absolutely go in the near future when I come to England again.

The best walking studio tour ever!!!!

Stonehenge and Bath tour

I went to Stonehenge and Bath with Shoei students from Japan, teachers, and my friend.

Stonehenge

I have never been there before. The first impression of Stonehenge was spiritual stones and smaller than I expected, but it was still huge. Nothing is around it. Only huge green field was present. I mean Stonehenge is surrounded by lots of green field and nature, and one of the spot which gives me a power. I like it. We don't have anything but seeing it there, though. Can you imagine that one architect built it 2000 years ago? It is probably easier to built now, but 2000 years ago, they should not have any useful tools. They might be very clever. We don't have any spot like it in Japan, so I cannot see similar one!! It was very precious experience for me.

Bath

I also have never been there. I went to the Roman Baths, Royal crescent, and the circle. The Roman baths were amazing!!!! We had been wandering inside for an hour by the time I met up with each other outside. Even now, the spring hot water is coming out from the bottom of it. I was surprised!! I ran towards there, and I thought it is very close to Japanese style natural spa. Water was dusty, though. It made me miss my bath in Japan. hehe Moreover, I wondered one thing that why English people today don't have a habit taking a bath. Basically, they take a shower. The ancient people took a bath, though. At the end of the Roman bath tour, I drank a small cup of spring water. To be honest, the taste was not good... I couldn't drink over. I don't know how I should explain about how it was, but it was awful for me...

The town was also great!!!! I thought here is very at home. Time goes very slowly, and it was opposite from the middle of London. When I saw Royal crescent, I was surprised that how enormous it is because normally the apartment has two levels or less, but it has 4 levels each including under ground. I couldn't say nothing but "Wow"!!! Probably my mouth would keep opening for a bit while. I wish I could live there...

After that, I ate the big ice cream; double scoop waffle corn, mint choco chip and strawberry. It was awesome!!!! I was getting cold, but I was happy to eat it, so that was alright.

Monday 20 July 2015

I had a lovely weekend!!

On Saturday
I went to the town to post the postcard to one of my friends and wandered around there. The weather was pretty good to go for a walk. I saw many stuff which looks so delicious on the high street while I was walking along there. However, I already had had breakfast, so it was hard to stand from lots of temptation. When I go there next time, I mean to be hungry for them. After I came back to my room, I had been watching You tube for an hour by the time I did Skype with my family. You tube made me watch for a long time because You tube has many relative channels on the side of screen. I was supposed to stop watching in 30 minutes and have lunch, but I found myself that I was absorbed in it. Then, I had been doing Skype with my family for 1h30m until they went to bed. There are big time difference(8 hours) between Japan and England(Japan is ahead and England is behind), so it is a little difficult to do Skype at the same time when both of us are free. They seemed fine!!!! We planed their visit to England in 3 weeks. It was so excited, because I will be able to spend with them during their visit. Apparently I miss my family, but Skype with my family always cheers me up.

On Sunday
I woke up a bit late and did my homework in the morning. After lunch I did Skype with my mother again because she fell asleep very early on the half way through Skype yesterday. Whenever I Skype with my mother, lots of topics pop out comparing in Japan. I mean when I was in Japan, I talked to her everyday, but I obviously cannot do now. So, Skype is very good opportunity to communicate with my family and friends. When I did Skype, I called my dogs, but they didn't notice my voice! I was very sad... They reacted to something...but they didn't find it was my voice! They ignored my voice! hehe When I go back to Japan, I will definitely ruffle and play with my lovely 4 dogs!! I will be having lovely time with my 4 dogs after 7 months. hehe I look forward to seeing them!

I went into the celebrity worlds.

I went to Westminster Abbey last Wednesday with my teacher and friend. I have known it, but I went there for the first time. Westminster Abbey stands strongly as if it is a symbol in London. Westminster has the deeply history, and the King has buried under it for about 1000 years. Inside of it, the oldest coronation chair, which is likely to be broken if someone sit down on, is displayed. Before I came to England, I didn't know about gothic architectures very well because Japan doesn't have any gothic architectures, but I have thought they are very cool since I started learning about British history and those sort of things. It is very good for me.

After that, I went to Carnaby Street, Harrods, and Fortnum & Mason. Carnaby street is actually not so expensive, basically cheaper than another two department stores. Another two department stores are ridiculously expensive!!!!  Actually, Carnaby is for younger people, and another two are for tourist and older people, I thought. Moreover, Carnaby has individual shops, and I can shop slowly because it is very calm. However, another two have lots of different types of shops, so I cannot shop nicely because there are very busy, crowded, and noisy. Therefore, they don't have any wall between shops. However, the products are very nice. They are incredibly nice!!! There are very expensive brand cloths, dresses, bags, accessories, cosmetic things, perfumes, and so on.  I have watched a kind of mega expensive thing on TV, but I actually saw such an expensive thing for the first time. I have similar department stores in Japan, but British one is much more expensive. When I saw the guy who has 3 big bags of Dior, I could not believe that view. I cannot imagine. If I have enough money, I could buy...I will need to work hard and earn in the future...

The most expensive wine in England in Fortnum & Mason
It says £1650.00 . I would like to drink just a shot of glass.
The most expensive LEGO in England in Harrods
I guess this is the most expensive LEGO(£65.000) not only in England but also around the world. I haven't seen more expensive LEGO before.
A piece of soap in Fortnum & Mason
I cannot imagine I would use this sort of soap(£30). It is very pretty, but too expensive. Moreover, it is too beautiful to use. Who would use this ?

The very gorgeous tea pot set in Harrods
It is marvelous and quite valuable one.(£4.250)

I also liked pretty things in Carnaby street. Especially, I liked these cooking goods. It is very pretty, isn't it? If I have these, I would feel like cooking every single meal...hehe

Monday 13 July 2015

The laziest weekend ever.

I had the laziest weekend ever since I came to England cause I didn't want to do anything... I hope everyone has the same situation at least one time...
Anyway I watched two films; Tangled which belongs to Disney, you know though, and Terminator genesis. I obviously love Disney, so I actually have watched it many times, but I'm not fed up with it. It is the lovely film. Terminator is also very famous around the world and one of my favourite SF film. I watched in English. Sometimes I couldn't catch the conversation but I can say absolutely my listening is getting better comparing with 2 months ago. I'm glad to be cause my listening is the most horrible of 4 English skills, so I would like to boost the listening up the most. It is a good practice to learn a language.

Then, the local festival which is called Yamakasa was taken place this weekend. It is one of the important festival; When Buddhist is taken from one Shinto shrine to the other one, we protect it as a protector pushing the mood up with a voice, whistle, and Japanese drum. As you can see, It is decorated with lots of Japanese dolls, many pieces of colourful triangle papers, warm lights, and some objects. It is awesome!!!!! Many area have this festival in Summer, and Hakata(it is our county's capital) is original, but I believe my area is the best!!^^

I have joined it every year, but I couldn't this year, so I asked my childhood friends to send me some photos and movies. Thanks to that I could enjoy that. I got a homesick and wanted to go back, though. Then I thought I should once go back to Japan because of a homesick. However, that turned into my power to do my best in England in another months. I believe I will have twice as much enjoyable time as usual to fill this year's gap. I already look forward to joining.

Thursday 9 July 2015

Hampton Court

I went to Hampton Court yesterday with my friend and teacher. The weather was not steady, and I thought it is typical English whether. So, It was overcast and a bit cold, but I enjoyed my visit there. Hampton Court is very quiet. I was surprised that. First of all, Hampton Court had a dark history long time ago.

Hampton Court was amazing and the enormous house!!! Windsor and Osborne house are huger than it, though. However, I was impressed the privy garden the most so far. There are many kinds of flowers, a fountain, and lots of nice green field. It was very pretty and managed very well. If I have a huge garden like that, I could go outside and play with my dogs.

Then, the most surprising thing there was the kitchen. In the kitchen, all kinds of cooking system were equipped. I experienced roasting a block of meat, and I had to roll constantly a metal stick not to have a block of meat be scorched. It was too hot to continue. I rolled for only 3 minutes, but it was hard work. If I were the chef at the moment, I would definitely refuse. However, the ancient people did that for 2 hours every day. Moreover, Many chef had been cooking for 600 people and tidied up all of things twice a day. I cannot imagine that situation because it is hard work for me to cook everyday.

I wandered around the house, but I liked this two sections the most. After exploring, we drank a cup of tea outside. It was good!! I enjoyed this excursion as well, but I got tired a little.

On the way back to Winchester, We called at Surbiton where Harry potter and the half blood prince was shot. I was glad to get there as well.

Monday 6 July 2015

Luscious place, Paris.

I went to Paris during a week off with my friend. I left at 1 am on Monday, and went to Gatwick airport by bus. It was very quiet, and nobody was there. This is only summer school though. These three days were boiling, and Sun was very strong. It marked 39 degree. I didn't know European climate is too hot. That's how I was melted...hehe

First day
We went to Versailles Place where is much huger than Windsor and gorgeous. I got a big queue for an hour. It was horrible, but fortunately, we could go inside for free because we are the student in Europe. Inside the castle, there were many people(it was crazy), so I couldn't see completely. However, I don't know how I should express, but I recognised that Versailles is amazing, and grabbed the atmosphere!!!!! Gorgeous chandeliers which are very pretty shape and perfect drawings are everywhere. I cannot believe people actually lived there. There were too noisy because of lots of people to listen to the audio guide, so I stole the explanation which Japanese tour guide explained.
After that, we once went back to our hotel, and went out to have supper. We went to the bar near the hotel. The staff there was so kind because they spoke in all English and spoke to us every 10 minutes; how's going? and how is your deal? I ordered lasagne and a glass of beer which is for the first time for me in 2 months. I was impressed how delicious is it!!!hehe

Second day
We left at 8 am and went to Môn mantle first, then I faced the scary experience because the guy selling things spoke to me and grabbed my arm. He tried to beg money so I screamed and ran away soon. I was so scared. However, Môn mantle was very beautiful, specifically the view from there was great!!! I could see most of Paris. Then, we went to Notre Dame, Louvre, Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, and Eiffel tower on foot. All of them was amazing!! I watched on only TV, so I was impressed because these things were present in front of me!!!! Specifically, the moment when I saw Venus de Milo and Eiffel tower. If you can, I would like you to go there!!!!

Third day
We went to Japan Expo 2015 which introduce and experience the Japanese calture such as foods, comics, clothes, traditional things, and so on. I think this sort of thing is very good opportunity to expand our culture. However, It made me get home sick. Then, when I wandered around there, I came across the famous designer and painter in Japan. Moreover, they offered us be a model of drawing. I was so happy because his brand is very popular among the young people. I cannot believe. I think it is actually the first and last experience in my life. I boasted my friends. I can say from the bottom of my heart I am a lucky girl.

I felt like I was in a dream in 3 days. I put the view of Paris in my brain because I would not come again in a few years.

Monday 29 June 2015

National History Museum

I went to NHM on Tuesday. National History Museum allowed me to be a child because it was so interesting and whenever I saw, I had an emotion that normally a child would have. The building itself is so beautiful as well. We intended come in from the front entrance, but there was a big queue, so we entered from the side entrance.

There are lots of real fossils in National History Museum, and even now many researchers have found a new fossil.
The first session I saw is dinosaurs. It was amazing and enormous!!! In this area, why did dinosaurs disappear, what foods did they eat, how did they live, and how was their blood pumped up... many topics were discussed. The most interesting topic was about blood!!! Originally, I like about an body. Then, the type of blood tube, how to send blood, and blood system are different depends on a dinosaur. Dinosaur's big blood tube allowed to pump up very quickly through the long and thick neck, and dinosaurs needed a lot of foods because they had to keep their temperature to move whenever they wanted to. There are many facts about dinosaurs, so I recommend browsing the web to find out. I wish if dinosaurs would still be alive...I want to watch the film; Jurassic World or I want to jump into the film and have an experience with them.

Next, I went to exhibition; Coral Reefs; Secret cities of the sea. It was also amazing and beautiful world. There were many things I didn't know and have never seen so far. I wondered before I read explanations that is this actually alive?,and how did they have a food? because they don't have a mouth. This exhibition was interesting but also I could learn many new things.

There are many enormous mammal in blue zone. I would like to ride on the mammoth or hang on their tusk!!!! When I threw back my FB, I found I took the same pause as 4 years ago. hehe

Then, I wandered another two zones. The zone which explain about Earth was interesting because my country, Japan has many earthquakes and volcanos. When I looked around, I found the movie about Tohoku Tsunami in Japan. Next year, it is going to have been 5 years since then. Time flies so quickly, but I never forget it. Moreover, I found one result. When I saw it, I was surprised. It is nearly same!!!!! Earth is interesting.

Last weekend with my host family

This weekend was the last when I spent with my host family. It enjoyed very much!!!!

On, Saturday, I went to Peter's primary school fete and helped with my host family. It is a kind of charity event. They not only sold old toys and uniforms but also cupcake which many mothers made and foods which is provided from Kyoto kitchen, performed dancing, and many various entertainment things. It was very fantastic!! I don't have this sort of thing in my primary school in Japan, so I was interested. I enjoyed my cupcake. It was delicious and sweet!! I thought this sort of cooperating event is very good, and a nice time to not only share with friends but also got to know a new friend.

On Sunday, it is "Father's day" on 21st of June. I texted my father in Japan. I had a BBQ; turkey burger, kebab, sausage, rice, salad, sweet corn, mushroom, and chips, in our garden with my host family. BBQ in England is completely different from Japanese one because in Japan we don't make a burger and kebab, and baked just naked meats and vegetables on the metal net. When we have a BBQ, we absolutely make a baked Onigiri which is the shape of triangle, and seasoned by salt and soy source. Then we have to bake till it has scorch!! When I have a BBQ next time with my host family, I would teach how to make baked Onigiri. It was a bit windy, but I enjoyed!!! It was the first BBQ in a year!! Suddenly, my host family's children gave me a present afterwards!!! I was impressed. They gave me a mag cap in Portsmouth which my mother bought me, and Portsmouth is where I went with my host family for the first time since I came, two coasters; one is from my host family's old son, the other is from younger son, my favourite jelly HARIBO and jam, and the lovely letter from my host mother. I have met a lovely family. I just appreciate their kindness. I make sure I will give a big thanks back to them. Oh my goodness!! Such a brilliant.
I'm sure I will come to their house again and again!!!! It is not goodbye, just see you again.

Then, when I stayed away from their house in this morning, I gave a big hug to my family. I am already miss them, but I am excited that my new life in the accommodation starts.

Thursday 18 June 2015

The National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery

Yesterday, I went to the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery where there are many famous paintings. Both of them were so crowded even not weekend. I'm introducing my favourite 5 paintings.

The first picture is "Sunflowers". As you know, it is painted by Van Gogh, and very famous around the world. This painting depicts power and calm, I think. If I have a duplicated painting in my house, it would give me power and relaxation. Initially, the yellow is the most favourite colour of all because this colour makes me happy and cheerful!! His painting is sensitive, and even if his painting is used same colours, the colour varies delicately with each flower.

Second is "The Water-Lily Pond". It is painted by Monet. I like this expression of landscape. It is beautiful that there are many white and light pink flowers on the pond and these flowers match atmosphere in background. I thought I would like to jump into this painting and have a picnic. Moreover, I painted it when I was a high school student. I couldn't paint well because I'm obviously not good at painting.

The third picture is "Harvest Le Pouldu". It is painted by Paul Gauguin, and this is my most favourite painting in the National Gallery because the mountain seems to express 4 seasons. As you can see, the mountain has many colours; green, orange, light grey, and dark green. Mountains in Japan change colours as the season changes as well. So, I felt it is similar to Japanese mountains. Moreover, I like the colours generally.

Fourth is "An Old Woman". It is painted by Quinten Massys. It is said that this painting is the most horrible face in the world of paintings. I didn't know if it is a woman or man until I saw the title. To be honest, I could paint like it... And, it is funny that the woman doesn't have her hair in the middle of head. Her hair style looks like the Devil.

Fifth is "Queen Victoria". It is from the National Portrait Gallery. When I saw this painting, not only did I think that what I saw on the excursions so far was painted in it, such as the crown and stick, but also I recognised the value at that time long long time ago. Moreover, I thought this last 3 weeks educational excursion connects one by one. I had valuable experiences so far.

Active weekend

I had a long weekend because the university was off on Friday.

On Friday, I watched Harry Potter film 4, the Goblet of fire in the morning. I love Harry Potter. I don't remember how many times I watched it in Japan. Then, after lunch, my friend's host mother took me and Urara to a huge supermarket, TESCO and Morris Den. TESCO is massive and I can buy anything, such as clothes, foods, housing stuff, drinks, toys, game, and books. So, this is very convenient, isn't it? I like the foreign supermarket because it is huge and there are many things which I have never seen before in Japan. Morris Den is a very pretty shopping centre which has a lot of old fashioned style furniture and stuff. If I brought lots of money, I could buy something...Next time I go, I will definitely bring lots of money. And, I finished writing essay afterwards.

On Saturday, I searched for a trip because I'm going to go to France at the beginning of July. I'm so excited!!!!! Then, after lunch, I went to another supermarket, Sainsbury's. This is massive as well!! I was wondering during food shopping that I will have to buy on my own a week later because I'm going to move into the accommodation...hehe I just chilled afterwards.

On Sunday, I went to a forest in Winchester, and there is the monument which a famous racing horse has been buried under it for about 50 years. From there, we could see the overview of Winchester, Southampton, and Salisbury. It is surrounded by lots of nature, and green fields. It is brilliant place to relax. On the way there, I walked over 10,000 steps, but I didn't feel tired any more. I thought that if I come after raining, I could see a beautiful forest view because there would be water drop on leaves. While we were walking, I found a footprint of a horse. I was surprised that there was a footprint because I can't see it in Japan. In England, horse riding is very popular, so it is allowed almost everywhere. This is a difference of culture between two countries. It's interesting. I had a good walk with my host family!!

This is the typical English view!!!

In the afternoon, I played badminton with my host mother in the garden. Both of us hit rubbish shot at the beginning, but we were getting better!!! It was so exciting, and good movement. However, I felt I am getting older regardless of I am 20 years old...I need more exercise...

Sunday 14 June 2015

Isle of Wight

I went to Osborne house where Queen Victoria lived, but it belongs to England on Isle of Wight with my friend and teacher on Tuesday. First of all, I didn't know about Isle of Wight, but my friend in England lives there, so I was so excited to go there. Isle of Wight is actually quiet and everyone is very friendly. When we got in trouble because we didn't know the way, people there told us regardless of whether we asked. I was impressed. Isle of Wight is very warm island, I thought.

On the way to the house, we found the interesting moving bridge!! When we cross the river, all of cars, bicycles, and pedestrians have to ride on it and it carries us to the other side. It is very funny, isn't it? I saw for the first time.

This is Osborne house. Inside, there are many miniature things. It is very pretty and awesome!!! The house has many portraits, furnitures, statues, decorated walls, and so on. Surprisingly, these design are deference!!!! Nothing was the same design, even tiny teacups. Statues and portraits have different face, such as funny face and serious face, as well.  I can't imagine that if this house belongs to me... I might get lost in it. It is like a maze. Not only the house but also the cottage which children can play is huge. It is not for children because it is nearly as large as a detached-house. People can live!!

After visiting the house, we went to the beach. Then, my teacher bought me ice-cream(I chose mint chocolate chips flavour) and we ate at the beach. It was yummy!!! I took a nap. I could refresh!!!!

Beach...ice-cream...sunshine...it was perfect day!!!! hehe Anyway, I was so happy to go to Isle of Wight.

Enjoyed sunshine in this weekend

On Saturday
It was lovely weather!!! So, I wen for a walk under bright sunshine. I like walking under nice weather because it wakes me up and I can make good health rhythm. In the afternoon, I watched the carton film, "Despicable Me 2" which has many strange but really pretty yellow characters. As you know, it is for children, but everyone could have a fun time by watching it. Then, After supper, I talked to Italian boys and my host mother about Italy, Japan, and English because 2 Italian boys have stayed for a week as a school trip. They talked about Italian foods, sightseeing places, and their area. I found they have lots of differences from Japan, for example, they can't go out after school because their teachers manage their life after school, and they have to prepare for a next class or revise some subject they learned. I was surprised!!! It is completely opposite of Japan!!

On Sunday
I went to the dressage contest which my teacher joined. It was the first time to go, so I was very excited and had a really good time!!!!! There were many types of horses and different age of riders. The test was about 5 minutes, but it was very serious and all riders might get nervous. After the test, the horse and rider was back to their car and house for a horse. Then, the rider feed and give a horse brushing. Then, I experienced brushing!! My teacher gave me a chance to do it. What a pretty little her baby it was, I think!! I have never ridden on the horse, so it made me excited!! I would like to ride on it someday!!! It is smelly...but very cute and cool!!!^^

My teacher got a 3rd prize!! Brilliant!!! The good relationship between a rider and horse is very important, and the couldn't get a good prize without their special effort, I think.

In Japan, these contest is not so popular, so it was very good experience for me.
