The British Museum

I went to the British Museum with my friend and teacher yesterday. This was the second time to go there. When I stood in London, I thought London is very huge, and very crowded!! It is different from my town in Japan.

We took the local train and tube train to get to the King's Cross station from Winchester. In the King's Cross station, we saw the Platform 9 3/4 and took photos. Then we took funny pauses such as jumping with my foot together, and pushing the cart. I really like Happy Potter, so I was happy to see it. In there, people normally took a long queue to take a photo, but fortunately, it took just about 10 minutes to queue!! Awesome!!!

After that, we went to the British Museum on foot, and on the way to there, we walked around London - London college, TV tower of London. -

Finally, we got to the British Museum!! We had only about 2 hours, but I could see the beautiful things I wanted to see.

First, I saw this funny and amazing sculpture. This was used in the film; Night Museum. This funny face is my favorite.

Next, I saw the Lewis chessman. It was used the film; Happy Potter. This was getting bigger with CG, but this was modelling of Happy Potter. I popped out in my head, when I saw it.

I saw not only these two things but also the other things. The life in ancient was not very useful and enough to live, but their idea and the old things they used to have were very wonderful. I wondered who had used these things or how status they had gotten.

This is the plate for something to have... It measures 72 cm and weights 5.6 kg. Very huge and old!! I don't know why the ancient needed this huge plate... I was surprised!! How a huge!!hehe

After we went out of the British museum, we went toward St. Oxford and walked around as well. St. Oxford was very busy more crowd than King's Cross. Oxford is the place where became modelling of Shinjuku, Tokyo in Japan!! There were lots of shops including import shops from Japan. Then we went in about the largest toy shops; Hamleys!!!

This is all made from LEGO!!!! It's really awesome, isn't it ?

London was very nice place for all generation, but it's not good to crowd. I walked about 20000 steps a day!! Amazing!!! I need strong foot I thought...hehe I'd like to go to London again.
